Soho Salon, Searching for a Language. Ann Churchill and Rachel Kneebone, 12 November - 18 December 2026
"A salon can be many things; a test-site for looking, thinking, writing - searching for a language to understand what it is to make and exhibit art. I will be working from the space, writing a text from what emerges. I want to invite you all - friends, strangers and special guests - to visit and converse. I am excited to see these works together and find out more about them, and myself, through the process. I am using it as active research for an exhibition around ideas of feminine and unconscious imagery in the age of Al, about turning the gaze inward - asking what defines human visual language?"
